ESH Clinical Update & News (formerly ESH Scientific Newsletters) are aimed at providing updated views on novel or controversial issues and/or specific topics with major clinical and therapeutic relevance.
They may be commissioned by the ESH Council or proposed by one of the ESH Working Groups or other authors related to ESH.
The publications are usually written by one to three contributors. The word count of these articles should not exceed 2,500 words, including a maximum of 10 references. They should not be summaries of already published or in press ESH position papers or statements.
They will undergo a review process by a dedicated team nominated for this task by the ESH Council:
Rosa Maria Bruno, Paris and Georg Ehret, Geneva (Associated Editors, ESH Clinical Update & News)
The main scope of ESH Clinical Update & News is information for the readers rather than full-fledged practical recommendations, however some practical suggestions in the conclusions section are more than welcome.
All editions of the ESH Clinical Update & News are published in Blood Pressure. ESH is very thankful for this fruitful cooperation initiated by Michel Burnier, Editor-in-Chief of Blood Pressure.
