SOMNOmedics Young Investigators Award
The SOMNOmedics Young Investigators Award, established by the ESH with a generous donation of SOMNOmedics, will be awarded annually to a young scientist for outstanding contributions to blood pressure control in patients with sleep disorders (basic or clinical research). The award winner will receive € 5,000 for his/her research project. The award funds will be disbursed directly to the winner and not to an institutional account.
A short research proposal (Structure: title, background, preliminary work of applicant in the field, description of project incl. timelines and work packages, budget and references) should be submitted latest by April 30, 2024. The proposal template can be downloaded here.
Applicants must also submit their current CV.
The SOMNOmedics Young Investigators Award is restricted to PhDs or MDs up to the age of 40.
The ESH Award Committee, together with dedicated experts in the field, will carefully review all proposals and select the winner.
The winner will officially receive the donation during the Award Ceremony at the 2024 ESH Annual Meeting on
June 2, 2024 in Berlin, Germany. A short presentation of the project on stage will be expected.
